Technical Support

We are seeking a Fire Alarm and Security Technician for Technical Support. Duties include answering installation questions regarding all of Potter's Sprinkler Monitoring, Fire Alarm, and Security products. Other duties include assisting with the development of installation instructions, developing and presenting training modules, assisting with market research, and assisting in the development of trade show displays. Potter desires the applicant to be NICET level 1 or higher and have a basic knowledge in both NFPA Standards and Building Codes. Applicant must have at least five years of installation experience, the ability to communicate effectively and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Mechanical Engineer

We currently have an opening for a BSME for our Product Engineering / R&D Department. The candidate must have the ability to manage projects throughout the product development cycle. The position requires five years experience in electro-mechanical product design, prototyping and testing of new product assemblies with plastic injection molded, die-cast and stamping components. Experience with Solidworks and designing pressure/flow monitoring products to UL safety standards is desired. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
