AMSECO, now part of Potter Electric Signal Company, is pleased to announce our new line of Fire and Emergency Communication Speakers. 

The AMSECO branded SS/SR (speaker only), SSC (ceiling speaker/strobe), and SSS/SSR (speaker/strobe) Series speakers are designed to provide the clearest audible sound with a high audio output at a minimum wattage.  The speakers are suitable for fire protective signaling systems, emergency evacuation, and mass notification systems. The 25 V RMS or 70.7 V RMS selective input voltage models provide six field selective wattage ranges.  Devices with “-2” denotation have wattage tap settings of ¼, ½, 1, and 2.  Devices with “-8” versions have wattage tap settings of 2, 4, and 8.  All devices allow for multiple voltage settings.  The low profile speakers can be installed on a standard 4” electrical box with an extension ring.  The SS/SR and SSS/SSR (speaker/strobe) series can also be installed outdoors using the 4BX-3 (square) or 4BX-5 (round) weatherproof backbox.

All three series of devices are available in Red or White and are UL Listed 1480.  The SSS/SSR and SSC are also ADA compliant.
