Potter is pleased to announce the new comprehensive suite of corrosion solutions provided by Potter Corrosions Solutions (a division within Potter Electric Signal Company, LLC).

Potter Corrosion Solutions provides everything needed to Test, Treat, and Monitor corrosion in a fire sprinkler system.  Testing for Microbiologically Influenced Corrosion (MIC) or other types of corrosion can easily be performed using one of Potter’s four water test kits.  These kits include an easy do-it-yourself test kit to quickly determine the presence of MIC, as well as a dissolved iron test, a detailed water test, and a 5-Year Deposit test that conforms to the requirements of NFPA 25.  Treatment is simple with Potter Pipe-Shield™, a biostatic, environmentally friendly corrosion inhibitor which is also non-regulated, non-hazardous, and completely biodegradable.  Monitoring a sprinkler system is the best way to protect your investment and can be effectively achieved through the use of Potter’s Automatic Air Release (PAAR), Corrosion Monitoring Station – Riser Mount (PCMS-RM), and Corrosion Monitoring Probe Kit (PCMPK).

Minimizing liability for damage caused by leaking or broken fire sprinkler pipes requires diligent corrosion monitoring.  With more than 110 years of sprinkler monitoring experience, Potter is the trusted source for corrosion monitoring and prevention.
