Houston, We Have a Question: Stump the Engineer

Ever wanted to put our engineers on the spot? This is your chance. In Stump the Engineer, attendees are invited to bring their toughest questions, edge cases, and real-world scenarios related to our fire alarm systems. Ask anything—from programming and hardware to system design, integration challenges, troubleshooting, or "why does it work this way?"

Questions can focus on any of our products, whether it’s something you’ve encountered in the field or a scenario you’ve always wondered about. Our engineers will come prepared with a few thought-provoking examples of their own, but the session is driven by your questions. The goal isn’t just to have answers—it’s to spark discussion, explore design tradeoffs, and tackle the kinds of problems that don’t always have an obvious solution.

And for a little extra fun: the question or scenario that makes the engineers think the hardest wins a prize.
