What personal information do we collect from you?

Data collected from you is identified in the registration form and may include your name, title, contact information (work location, email and phone numbers), citizenship, information about your assistant, emergency contact, and other information relevant for the purpose of planning the event, such as your meal preferences and travel information. For some events, you may be able to receive assistance making your reservations, in which case your payment information will also be required. Your information is retained only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for any additional period as required by applicable law or regulation, court, administrative or arbitration proceedings, or audit requirements.

How will we use the personal information that you provide?

The personal information you provide will be used to: (1) plan for and manage the event facilities and services; (2) track event attendance; (3) plan for future events; (4) share contact information with other event attendees; (5) provide event information to you, including through mobile applications; (6) protect against fraud and other compliance risks, including without limitation in the conduct of internal investigations; (7) facilitate the sale or transfer of some or all of the assets of Potter Electric Signal Company, LLC or one of its subsidiaries or affiliates; and (8) address government requests or present a legal claim or defense. In order to complete the purposes identified, Potter Electric Signal Company, LLC may need to transfer the personal information you provide to another country, but will do so with appropriate protections in place.

With whom is your personal information shared?

Your personal information may be shared with:

• Omega World Travel for hosting and administration of the event registration system;
• The venues hosting any part of the event; and
• Other service providers for the purposes identified above.

Although Omega World Travel may communicate directly with you regarding the event, no marketing information will be sent to you. You may view Omega's privacy statement by clicking here.

Where is your personal information stored?

Personal information provided by you through the registration system is stored in the United States and managed by Omega, the provider of the event registration system. Potter Electric Signal Company, LLC may also transfer your personal information to other systems as described in the privacy policy.

What cookies does the registration system use?

No cookies are installed through the use of this registration system except to help you navigate during each individual session.

Will the event be recorded?

Some events are preserved by video and/or audio recording. Ordinarily, the invitation to the meeting will inform you about whether or not the event will be recorded and how you might be able to participate without being recorded. If your invitation does not provide such information, you should contact the meeting planner whose name and contact information is on the welcome page. If the event is recorded, the recording will be used to: (1) provide additional training; (2) benchmark with outside companies on training; (3) facilitate the sale or transfer of some or all of the assets of Potter Electric Signal Company, LLC; and (4) address government requests or to present a legal claim or defense. The recordings will be shared among Potter Electric Signal Company, LLC entities and with Potter Electric Signal Company, LLC service providers, but only for the purposes identified here as well as to make the recordings usable, such as for editing or formatting. In order to complete one of the purposes identified, Potter Electric Signal Company, LLC may need to transfer the recordings to other countries, but will do so with appropriate protections in place. If you do not want to be recorded, use the means provided to opt-out or contact your meeting planner if no mechanism is offered.

What additional information should individuals from the EU know?

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your national or state data protection authority, which may also be known as a supervisory authority. You also have the right to request access to and correction or erasure of your personal information, seek restrictions on or object to the processing of certain personal information, and seek data portability under certain circumstances.
