We are happy to announce the PAD300-10XIM Ten Input Module and PAD300-6XRM Six Relay Module, two new intelligent SLC modules that bring multiple supervised inputs or relay outputs onto a single high-density card. The new Multi-I/O modules replace stacks of single-point interface modules with one board, reducing the number of electrical boxes and field terminations required on the project.

The PAD300-10XIM monitors up to 10 Class B or 5 Class A supervised contact inputs for devices such as manual pull stations, waterflow switches, and supervisory contacts. The PAD300-6XRM provides 6 Form C relay outputs rated 2A at 30VDC, 0.5A at 125VAC, for fan and damper control, elevator interfaces, HVAC restart, and other ancillary system activations. Both modules communicate on Potter’s PAD Addressable Protocol and work with IPA and AFC/ARC series intelligent fire alarm control panels. The included stacker bracket allows flexible mounting inside the panel, power supply, or accessory cabinet.

Product Manager Abe Lizama said;

“Our customers told us they want to do more with less space and less wiring, and these modules deliver exactly that. What sets the PAD300 Multi-I/O modules apart is the address flexibility. Installers can disable unused points on the card, and those open addresses are available for other SLC devices elsewhere on the loop.”

Key features of the PAD300 Multi-I/O Modules include:

  • PAD300-10XIM supports 10 Class B or 5 Class A supervised contact inputs on a single module

  • PAD300-6XRM provides 6 Form C relay outputs rated 2A @ 30VDC, 0.5A @ 125VAC

  • Intelligent SLC devices, with each input or output occupying one address on the loop

  • DIP switch addressing on the PAD Addressable Protocol for fast, tool-free setup in the field

  • Unused addresses can be disabled and reassigned to other SLC devices on the loop (up to 8 on the 10XIM, up to 5 on the 6XRM)

  • Bi-color status LED for every input and every relay for at-a-glance diagnostics

  • Plug-in Phoenix terminal blocks accept 12 to 22 AWG wire for fast, reliable termination

  • Compatible with Potter IPA and AFC/ARC series intelligent fire alarm control panels

  • Included stacker bracket allows mounting inside the fire alarm panel, PSN-1000E power supply, or an AE Series accessory cabinet

Consolidating up to ten points onto a single card reduces terminations, and flexible in-cabinet mounting options remove the need for separate boxes and extensive wiring. Addresses that aren't used on a given project can be reassigned to other SLC devices on the loop, so nothing is wasted. For installers, that means a faster build-out and real cost savings on every project.
