We are excited to announce the Auto-Test Pressure Switch (ATPS), the latest addition to its AutoITM line of products which help contractors automate certain aspects of the inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems. Designed to streamline these inspection and testing processes, the ATPS automates essential pressure tests, reducing human error and improving system reliability.
The ATPS uses patent-pending technology to perform high and low pressure tests with just the push of a button, eliminating the need for manual intervention. By minimizing the risk of system failure, the ATPS ensures that fire protection systems remain compliant with safety standards, while reducing downtime and labor costs for contractors.
Sean Rogers, Director of Product Management for Potter Sprinkler Monitoring said.
“We are thrilled to introduce the Auto-Test Pressure Switch. This device addresses a critical need in the industry. Manual testing is time-consuming and prone to error, but the ATPS simplifies the entire process, delivering reliable and consistent results. It also mitigates the risks of accidental system discharges, which is a significant concern for contractors. We’ve heard from our partners how the time spent on manual pressure testing can add up, especially on larger systems with multiple risers. The Auto-Test Pressure Switch cuts down testing time dramatically, allowing them to service more clients and maintain systems more efficiently.”
Key Features and Benefits:
Automated Testing: Performs essential pressure tests for sprinkler systems quickly and efficiently.
Risk Reduction: Eliminates the risk of accidental system discharges during testing, ensuring higher safety and reduced liability.
Adaptability: Compatible with various pressure configurations, reducing the need for multiple devices.
Versatile Mounting Options: Easily mounts to a riser or wall, making installation seamless for contractors.
Replaces Traditional Pressure Switches: The ATPS consolidates the functionality of both supervisory and alarm pressure switches into a single unit, eliminating the need for multiple traditional switches. This not only simplifies installation but also reduces maintenance complexity.
