We are excited to announce the release of PotterNet-FOW (Floor Overview Window), an innovative 24-inch touchscreen status panel designed to provide firefighters and first responders with instant visual access to critical building information during emergency situations. The new system offers a modern, efficient alternative to traditional LED annunciator panels while delivering significant time and cost savings during installation and throughout the project lifecycle.

PotterNet-FOW is designed for high-rise buildings exceeding 120 feet in height, as defined by the International Building Code (IBC), where elevator lobby monitoring is required to be annunciated at the building’s Fire Command Center. The system monitors heat detectors and smoke detectors in designated floor lobbies, providing clear visual indicators to help emergency personnel respond quickly and effectively.

"With PotterNet-FOW, we're bringing modern touchscreen technology to an application that has traditionally relied on complex, hard-wired systems," said Mark Indgjer, Product Manager at Potter. "This solution dramatically simplifies installation and configuration while giving our customers unprecedented flexibility. Design and manufacture of traditional annunciator panels can take weeks or months, but configuration of PotterNet-FOW takes just a few minutes."

Key features and benefits:

  • 24-inch touchscreen display with support for up to 50 floors, providing clear visual status indicators
  • Simplified installation via single Ethernet connection, replacing complex wiring of multiple LED driver boards and interface modules
  • Rapid configuration changes through PotterNet Studio, eliminating lengthy approval cycles with third-party manufacturers

PotterNet-FOW is compatible with Potter's IPA and AFC series fire alarm control panels, including IPA-4000(E)(V), IPA-100, IPA-60, AFC-1000(E)(V), AFC-100, AFC-50, and ARC-100. The system supports customizable temperature thresholds, hoistway lighting controls, and can utilize combination heat and smoke detectors to reduce hardware costs.
