EVAX Series Conventional Voice Systems provide installers and building owners with a modern, cost-effective platform for standalone voice evacuation. Three models cover applications ranging from single-zone retrofits to larger multi-amplifier installations.
Text-to-speech allows installers to create custom messages in seconds, and field programming replaces the legacy process of configuration forms and factory-loaded message chips. They are compatible with any UL-compliant fire alarm control panel, integrating into retrofit projects where replacing the existing system is not an option. The EVAX Series is well suited for schools, daycares, theaters, churches, restaurants, and other small to medium commercial applications.

EVAX-5070
The EVAX-5070 conventional voice panel is designed to notify and safely evacuate building occupancy during emergency events. The panel offers innovative features to provide reliability and safety of personnel. Included is a 50W single channel amplifier with on-board speaker outputs, trigger inputs, relay outputs, an auxiliary input, and Potter’s proprietary P-Link and V-Link bus.
The Potter Panel Programmer comprises the state-of-the-art Audio Patterns feature which allows users to select and create audio files easily and effectively from the user’s laptop. The programmer offers an internal library of predefined message and tones for common emergency conditions. Audio Patterns provides the ability to conveniently record and import audio files directly from a laptop. The exclusive Text-To-Speech feature translates custom digital text into fluent and natural sounding voices. Offering multiple voices and languages to accommodate customer preferences.

Firefighter telephone (FFT-1000) support on the EVAX-X70 for two-way emergency communication
FFT-1000
The FFT-1000 Fire Fighter Telephone panel allows users from remote areas to effectively communicate with the FFT-1000 panel. The panel utilizes fireman’s phone jacks and remote fireman’s handsets to establish 2-way communication from the remote areas to the FFT1000. The panel can communicate in conjunction with the IPA-400V via P-Link or operate as a standalone system. The panel is equipped with 24 Class B or 12 Class A phone circuits and is expandable by using the FFT-EXP.

PSN-1000(E)
The PSN-1000 series is a UL listed intelligent 10 amp notification power supply and P-Link (RS-485) repeater. The power supply connects to the P-Link bus from the control panel and is operated and supervised from the panel. The power supply may be installed 6,500 feet from the control panel. The PSN-1000 then repeats the P-Link communication for another 6,500 feet.
The power supply has six (6) Class B or three (3) Class A power outputs. Each output is regulated and power limited with a 3 Amp maximum rating. In addition, the PSN-1000 has two (2) programmable dry contact inputs. The dry contact inputs are Class B, supervised inputs.
Each output can be independently configured to provide one of four synchronization patterns, constant power, ANSI temporal Code 3 or Door Holder power. Using our patented Quadrasync technology, the panel can be configured to synchronize Potter/AMSECO®, Gentex®, Cooper Wheelock® and System Sensor®.
The power supply operates on either 120 or 220 VAC power and has a regulated 24 VDC output. In addition, the panel can charge up to 55 AH batteries and will house 18 AH batteries.

RM-1000ECS
The RM-1000ECS remote microphone allows the operator to page and activate ECS messages to desired speaker circuits from a remote area. The remote microphone is equipped with an SB-8 voice user interface which provides 8 programmable soft keys. It is enclosed in a sheet metal enclosure and is equipped with a microphone. The RM-1000ECS is a PLink device and communicates with the control panel via the 4-wire RS-485 connection and distributes paging audio through the V-Link 1 and V-Link 2 audio riser. A maximum of 30 RM-1000ECS can be connected to a voice system. The remote microphone provides LED indication for Power and Ready to Page.

SCA-5070INT
The SCA-5070INT is a small form single channel 50W amplifier that can be mounted in the IPA-4000V, AFC-1000V, LOC- 1000 and PSN-1000E. The amplifier is mounted to an exclusive stacker bracket for secure and accessible mounting. The SCA-5070INT provides 4 Class B or 4 Class A speaker circuits. The SCA-5070INT communicates via the P-Link communication bus and audio is distributed through the V-Link 1 audio riser. The amplifier is powered by a constant 24VDC provided by the fire panel or PSN-1000 NAC circuit. The SCA-5070INT can support either 25V or 70V speaker circuits. The speaker circuit voltage is set using the panel programming software. The IPA-4000V supports up to thirty-one (31) amplifiers and the AFC-1000V supports up to 10 amplifiers. All circuits are power-limited and supervised.

CIM-16
The CIM-16 input module provides 16 inputs which are activated via normally open dry contacts. A contact closure between the selected input point and common will activate the input. The CIM-16 communicates through the P-Link communication bus. The inputs are power limited and supervised. Each card is mounted to the exclusive Stacker Bracket for secure and accessible mounting.
