Potter's expanded line of D-TECT Sensors and bases have been designed from the ground up with unmatched performance, ease of installation, and unique testing and maintenance features. D-TECT sensors are designed to "self-learn" and reduce false alarms. The newly designed photo electric chamber (patent pending) accurately detects fire while rejecting nuisance. D-TECT Sensors are UL 268 7th Edition compliant to be more sensitive to fire while remaining immune to deceptive environmental phenomena. These additional sensors utilize the Potter PAD protocol and are backwards compatible with all PAD100 and PAD200 devices. Potter ensures there is no learning curve when designing with and installing this family of detectors and bases.

Potter's Fire and Security Product Manager, Abe Lizama stated,
